Environmentally friendly self build in Sussex / Kent.

The founder of Qtronics Design Ltd, Alex Martin, is set to take on a new challenge of creating an environmentally friendly home with in the Sussex / Kent area of England. His plans are simple, in theory. Buy a plot of land, build a house from renewable components, eg wood etc. as a phase two of the project Alex wishes to gain permission to build several wind turbines and also use solar panels and heating to provide power for the house.

Alex aims to produce around 60% of his own energy with only the winter months needing that little bit of a boost from the national grid.

In Alex’s own words “I’ve always dreamed of building my own house and being completely independent from the need of everyday gas, electric and water.” However Alex does admit that he will need broadband internet and a phone line in this house that he plans to build due to his company.

Alex is also looking for partners in his adventure to possibly build a eco friendly village, something that could be a first for the south of England. People interesting in the idea and / or self builds should contact Alex at a.martin@robux.co.uk
