Star-Light, Model tracking made easy

Ever watched in dismay as your model goes out of your control and vanishes into the distance, you know it can’t stay in the air forever, but it could have covered hundreds of meters, and where do you start to search?

The Star-Light system has been designed by a model maker (Electronics Design Engineer by trade) to aid in the fast recovery of your model.

The Star-light is of low enough weight that it may even be incorporated in to model rockets.
The transmitter boards are provided as low weight PCB assemblies that require only a 5 Volt DC power supply, which can be taken from the Radio control receiver battery pack.

The receiving units is also constructed on a PCB assembly and includes a bar graph indication as to how close you are to your model, indicator increases the closer you are to your model and is also directional so you know which way to start walking and looking for your model. The receiver is powered from a PP3 9 Volt battery.
