Solar
tracking system
The solar tracking
system (now on referred to as SAR, the part number for the system)
is designed to gain optimum use of solar panels, due to this it
is possible to gain more power from the solar panels and additionally
a smaller area of solar panels may be used and still gain the same
power if not more then a fixed solar panel array. Typically it is
possible to gain 20% more power form solar panels when fitted with
a SAR tracking device. Because the SAR system controls both the
X and Y axis of the solar panels it gains the best performance of
your solar panels, this is possible due to continual monitoring
of the position of the sun (or for testing an artificial light source).
The SAR system
is also equipped with a serial data port (RS232) which enables the
standard system to be customized to ones application. Additionally
the serial port also outputs the values from the light sensors making
it possibly to see on a PC (using an appropriate program) a graph
of the suns rays and where and when the ultimate sun levels were
achieved.
The SAR system
is available in a number of variations including customized solutions
for your application.
